HEOP means possibility. It is the badge of honor I wear with泭pride as I walk around the campus and make my voice heard.泭It is the nemesis of the voice in my head that says, You are泭a first generation student from a low-income family, you will泭never make it. It is my courage when I fear I am not strong泭enough to power through my failures. It is the community of泭students and staff around me who give me hope, power, and泭solidarity to achieve my goals and dreams in life.

HEOP is like a second family that supports me and泭helps me approach college. I was able to have a different泭mindset when it came and learned how to do things on my泭own.
